Programme
Democratic Resilience and Civic Space
Democratic resilience depends on public trust, civic engagement, and the capacity of democratic systems to respond to societal challenges.
Overview
This programme examines democratic resilience as a shared societal responsibility. We analyse the conditions under which civic actors, independent media, local communities, and democratic institutions can together sustain pluralistic governance and public trust in democratic processes.
Our work addresses both the structural conditions for resilience and the positive democratic agendas that can respond to citizens’ concerns and aspirations.
