Founding team
Founding Director
Dr. Elguja Khokrishvili
Elguja Khokrishvili is a political economist working on EU external relations, democratic resilience, and reform in transition countries. He served as Ambassador of Georgia to Germany from 2017 to 2019. He has held research fellowships at Freie Universität Berlin under the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Chair and at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, and taught at IU International University. He holds a Dr. rer. pol. from the University of Potsdam.

Dimitri Tskitishvili
Dimitri Tskitishvili is a political analyst working on foreign policy and democratic reform in transition countries. He served as Deputy Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Georgian Parliament from 2016 to 2019. From 2020 to 2024 he chaired Georgia Progressive Forum, a social democratic think tank based in Tbilisi.

CDGR’s Advisory Board is currently being established. Members will be announced in due course.
